ARIEL KAS

Ariel will join Mark Ventures as a Managing Partner after successfully completing fund raising stage. Ariel currently holds a position within XO Holdings (a multi-billon dollar holding controlled by Carl Icahn), being responsible for deal sourcing, pipeline management, leading due diligence, divestitures, and assisting the board on strategic issues. Previously, Ariel was a senior member of Time Warner's new ventures group, sharing responsibility for sourcing, structuring and negotiating AOL's acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures. Ariel began his career as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP where he spearheaded a broad range of engagements including M&A integration, valuation, due diligence, market sizing and business planning for clients with operations in Latin America. Ariel earned an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. and a B.A. from San Andrés University/Babson College.
